Well, both my daughters decided that 6am was a good time to get up today! I wish I could reason with them to say otherwise....it's just so early. That said, once up, I do enjoy seeing the day unfold. It's so peaceful at that time - no traffic, brisk air, light breeze. It's like getting a preview of the day with the sound turned down. It's at times like these that I remember why we bought a property in Spain as distinct from anywhere else.

Of course, the peace doesn't last long...hungry, screaming kids have a way of pulling you harshly out of any dreamworld...but it is nice while it does last.

Fell off the wagon with my diet yesterday. Ah. Back on again today.
